The Feminist and Women’s Studies Association (FWSA) is seeking a new Treasurer. The Treasurer plays a central role in the running and organising of the FWSA and in supporting the Chair(s) make decisions on the cost of the Association’s activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and efficient researcher to gain experience on a subject Association executive.
The central responsibilities of the Treasurer are:
- Recording and making payments
- NatWest Account
- Producing Treasurer reports for Executive Committee meetings and the Annual General Meeting
- With the Association’s accountants prepare the FWSA’s Annual Accounts
The person appointed will be begin the role immediately but will be supported until June 2014 by the current Treasurer.
