These are key roles for the FWSA, providing an outlet for sharing member news as well as promoting the association. Terms of office run for 3 years and it is expected the Executive members will engage with the running of the FWSA through regular attendance at Executive and AGM meetings and regular contact withother Executive members.
The newsletter officer is responsible for securing contributions to the newsletter, including an interview with a leading feminist scholar/activist. In addition, the newsletter officer designs the layout of the publication and writes the accompanying editorial.
The social media/blog officer oversees book reviews (find reviewers and books to review, contact publishers, send some books out, chase late reviews, edit, upload onto the blog and promote through social media), sources content for the blog and maintains our blog/twitter and Facebook pages.
Those interested in the role should contact the FWSA administrator with a CV and a 1 A4 side indicating suitability for the post (firstname.lastname@example.org) by the 20th December 2014. This deadline allows for a full handover between the incoming and outgoing officers. All Exec officers must be members of the FWSA at the time of assuming office.
