Feminist Movie Saturday is a one day festival on 30th January 2016, hosted by the Centre for Gender and Women’s Studies at Lancaster University and The Time is Now (https://ttin.uk/feminist-movie-mondays) at the Gregson Centre in Lancaster.
There are various feminist-inspired activities throughout the day:
11am-2pm Bring your family!: Zine Workshop; Movie Making; Kids Activities; Film Screenings-Brave and Whale Rider
2-5pm Activist Afternoon: Exclusive screenings from Leeds Animation Workshop – Guest Speaker Terry Wragg; and Carry Greenham Home
5-6.30pm: Dinner and drinks. Discounted food available with a ticket
6.30-11pm Glitterball Screenings: 6.30-8.30pm Girlhood and 9.30-11pm Diary of a TeenageGirl
