*CFA EXTENDED TO 1 MAY 2018*
Following the success of the 2017 FWSA biannual conference ‘Making space for Feminism in the Neoliberal Academy’, the executive committee would like to announce the Call for Proposals for the next FWSA conference in 2019.
Since 2002, The FWSA has been hosting conferences to promote research across gender, women’s, and feminist studies. The FWSA conference, which is now a biennial event, brings together academics, activists, and policy workers to showcase the latest gender and feminist studies research. The conference provides a forum to discuss scholarship, pedagogy, activism, and policy. It facilitates discussions, debate, networking and professional development opportunities. To see details of previous themes for the conference please explore the conference tab on our website: http://www.fwsa.org.uk/conferences-and-events/fwsa-conferences/
Members of FWSA who are attached to an academic institution are eligible to apply to host the 2019 conference, and propose the next conference theme and rationale.
We welcome informal discussions prior to application; please contact the FWSA Conference Liaison Officer, Sarah Burton, for this: sarah.v.burton@durham.ac.uk
If you would like to apply, please visit here. This page contains a link to our Biennial Conference Guidelines which should be used to support your application.
