General Committee Member

The General Executive member sits on the executive committee and does not have a specified area of responsibility but does contribute fully to all general executive committee activity, including committee meetings and email liaison. The general member assists when needed with other roles that need extra support, and contributes to additional projects and working groups of the committee as they arise.

Fundraising officer

The fundraising officer will assist the chair and treasurer with seeking funding opportunities to support the work of the FWSA. This will involve liaising with potential partners including publishers, researching funding opportunities with relevant higher education bodies, developing other fundraising strategies and initiatives, and assisting with planning for funding future FWSA activity and events.

Terms of office run for 3 years and it is expected that Executive members engage with the running of the FWSA through regular attendance at Executive and AGM meetings and regular contact with other Executive members.
