We are pleased to announce that the special issue of the Journal of International Women’s Studies featuring the winning and shortlisted essays from the 2018 FWSA essay competition has now been published.
The volume entitled “New Writings in Feminist and Women’s Studies Winning and Short-listed Entries from the 2018 Feminist and Women’s Studies Association’s (FWSA) Annual Student Essay Competition” was edited by Laura Clancy and Irralie Doel. It brings together seven essays on subjects as diverse as cartography, ecofeminism, Hindi cinema, and UK medicine. You can view the full table of contents and read the special issue here.
We would also like to remind you that the 2019 Essay Competition is now open for entries. If you have been inspired by the shortlisted 2018 entries, don’t hesitate to enter. Please also circulate the competition details to your networks and/or encourage your students to submit.
